Maru is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable HR Coordinator to join our global HR Team and work alongside our UK HR Manager.
This role is ideal for someone eager to apply and expand their HR skills in a collaborative and supportive setting.
As the HR Coordinator, you will play a key role in delivering essential support to the HR function.
You will be responsible for all day-to-day UK HR administration within the employee lifecycle and will also have the opportunity to support both local and global employee engagement initiatives, as well as other ad-hoc projects.
We require someone that can work on a hybrid basis and can be in our Hedge End office at least once per week.
Responsibilities: Onboarding and Offboarding: Facilitate a welcoming onboarding experience – including preparation of offer letters and contracts, onboarding onto all systems and supporting with inductions/training Manage offboarding procedures, ensuring a professional transition for employees leaving the organisation.
Employee Records and Data Management: Manage accurate and confidential HR databases and assist in HR data reporting, analytics, and metrics as needed.
Process employee status changes, salary adjustments, and other HR-related updates.
Employee Engagement Initiatives: Assist with employee engagement initiatives such as organising events, managing rewards and benefits programmes, and supporting employee wellbeing programmes to foster a positive workplace environment.
Benefits and Payroll Support: Assist employees with benefits enrolment & queries.
Liaise with benefits providers.
Provide precise data for payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timelines for reports each month.
Recruitment Support: Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with candidates and hiring managers.
General HR Administration: Assist with special projects, HR initiatives, and process improvements.
Serve as the main point of contact for employee questions and direct them to appropriate HR personnel as needed.
Skills and Qualifications At least 1-2 years' experience in an HR role CIPD Level 3 qualified (desirable) Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills – able to work effectively with staff at all levels High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Adaptable and excited to work within a fast-paced environment Conscious of handling sensitive data and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS software Salary - £25,000 - £27,000 (dependent on experience) Benefits include 23 days annual leave, 5 days personal development leave, Bupa private healthcare, flexible working, membership to extensive discounts platform and social & wellbeing events.
