They are seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to join their friendly, award-winning team at the Frognal House Care Home in Sidcup, Kent.
Main duties of the job As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will work as part of a team to ensure that all standards of cleanliness and laundry are maintained in the home.
You will operate according to Avery Healthcare's standard operating procedures, maintaining hotel service standards.
Your responsibilities will include carrying out cleaning duties, understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings, and ensuring that residents are treated with dignity and respect.

Understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected..ABOUT YOUTo succeed in your application, you will live our values of caring,supportive,honest,respectful and accountable in all you do.Our ideal candidatemusthave: Knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety and COSHH assessments.
Experience of cleaning laundry in a public setting.
Demonstrate compassion and commitment to the delivery of high-quality housekeeping/laundry service to residents.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential To succeed in this role, you will need knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety and COSHH assessments, as well as experience of cleaning laundry in a public setting.
