HLTA needed in Chesterfield, Derbyshire Sector: Education and Training Do you want the chance to lead classes of young students within Primary Education across Chesterfield?
If you have recently completed a BA Hons Degree or you hold a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification (Level 4) then Academics want to hear from you.
This type of HLTA role requires confidence, knowledge of the EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curriculum, the ability to maintain engagement from pupils and creative methods to keep pupils on course.
The role is a temporary post but there are possibilities for permanent vacancies within Academic's client schools in the Chesterfield area.
This HLTA post is extremely rewarding, benefits include: High rates of pay (Between £90 to £120 per day - inclusive of holiday pay and dependent on experience).

What do Academics look for in our HLTA staff?
Evidence of your highest academic achievement (BA Hons Degree, Level 4 Qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning).
References from your most recent employer and covering the past 24 months.
A positive attitude.
Flexibility with your working timetable.
Experience working in a classroom setting and leading groups of primary aged pupils.
The ability to commute across Chesterfield.
Have or be willing to process an Enhanced DBS Certificate prior to starting work.
