Job Type: · Full Time – Monday to Friday ongoing or adhoc basis – adhoc weekend runs available – Temp 2 perm available.
· AM AND PM SHIFTS AVAILABLE REGULAR WORK Pay Rate: AM £17.37 per hour includes holiday pay £20 Umbrella Pay Rate: PM £19.10 per hour includes holiday pay £21.00 Umbrella · Shifts: · Monday to Friday - block bookings.
· PM 15:00 -20:00 start time mainly around 16:00 starts · Monday to Friday drivers - 10 hours plus each day · AM shifts Monday to Friday ongoing · Bonus Scheme is being introduced over the next 2 months £130 per month (details will be updated asa Role: · To deliver or collect containers – mainly running to Felixstowe docks and Southampton - or container deliveries Key Responsibilities: · Safely and efficiently operate a truck to transport goods to designated locations mainly Felixstowe · Safely dealing with loading and offloading of containers including using trailers- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road · Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle · Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage · Communicate with dispatch to receive instructions and updates on delivery routes · Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries Qualifications: · Container experience NOT essential but desirable · Valid CE driver's license (HGV Class 1) · Minimum of 6 months experience as a HGV 1 driver essential · Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents Paid assessment required Please apply
