Based Tamworth Ongoing Friday and Saturday Start times between 8:00 - 17:00 Pay Rates: Weekday - £16.00 plus holiday pay Weekend - £19.50 plus holiday Pay Driver Require are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers/ Shunting for our client based in Tamworth The role as an HGV Class 1 driver/shunter will include: Carrying out daily checks on the vehicle you are assigned for a job.
Completing minor repairs to the vehicles where necessary and appropriate to do so.
Reporting any damage, defects, or wear-and-tear to the Transport Team Ensuring the load is strapped down Shunting a Class 1 Lorry from site to site Effectively managing your driving time so that you don't acquire infringements.
HGV Class 1 Driver requirements: Must have 12 months HGV / Class 1 Driver/Shunting experience Strapping and loading experience needed Be mindful of the vehicles when driving to customer eg fitting into tight spaces Maximum 6 points on licence with no major convictions (DD/DR/IN10's) #INDTAM To apply please email ******
