Key Responsibilities: Safely transporting goods across designated routes, ensuring the security and integrity of products in transit.
Completing all necessary paperwork and following assigned delivery schedules and routes accurately.
Conducting daily checks and logging any vehicle defects, reporting issues to management promptly.
Adhering strictly to drivers hours, tachograph regulations, and company policies.
Wearing the correct PPE at all times and maintaining the cleanliness and order of the vehicle.
Offering professional and courteous service to all customers, addressing queries where needed.
Coordinating with managers and team members to report any delivery or route issues.
Conducting pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and compliant with company standards.
Assisting with the loading and unloading of cargo when required.
Acting as an ambassador for the company, always ensuring customer satisfaction.
Requirements: HGV Class 1 License (essential).
Driver CPC Card (essential).
At least 1 year of experience driving HGV Class 1 vehicles.
Good understanding of drivers hours laws and tachograph regulations.
Ability to work with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong organisational and time- management skills.
Must be willing to tramp Monday to Friday.
Curtain Sider experience (preferred).
2 years' Class 1 experience preferred but not essential.
Stable work history without frequent job changes.
