Martin Group are committed to building a first-class talented workforce, so that we can offer the very best service to our customers.Our dealership is looking for a candidate to enrol on a Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician apprenticeship programme with Remit whilst working with us as a HGV Apprentice Technician.Our candidate will ideally have a minimum of 3 GCSE's at grade 4 or above but more important is that they have a ton of enthusiasm and a willingness to achieve a level 2 Functional Skills qualification in Maths and English (if not already gained) alongside the apprenticeship.Training will be provided in our workshop, alongside skilled technicians, and regular block release training at the Remit Centre of Learning in Derby.

The Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician apprenticeship programme with Remit gives apprentices the chance to work on some of the most modern, sophisticated trucks on the road.The ChallengeThe programme is a government approved 'traditional' Apprentice Scheme that combines hands-on workshop training with block release attendance at the Remit Centre of Learning in Derby for college training and study.
The ExperienceAll apprentices are will work alongside qualified technicians.
Regular visits will be made by the Programme Assessor to ensure that training is effective, progress is satisfactory and that the apprentice is actually enjoying the work.
Apprentices are employed on a permanent basis with recognised terms and conditions of employment.
The Knowledge & QualificationOn course completion apprentices will be recognised with an Advanced Apprenticeship in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair which will include VCQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair and will continue to work with us as a qualified technician.
