Job summary The Integrated respiratory service has an exciting opportunity for a Band 3 administrator/ support role to join the integrated Respiratory team in supporting the Hospital @ home service pathway The post is a permanent post, where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to support the clinical team with administrative duties, whilst working as part of the busy respiratory serviceWe are looking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic healthcare assistant to join our integrated respiratory service to support patients at home ,you may also be expected to support the clinical team in the hospital settingYou will be part of the team composed of physio, respiratory specialist nurse, a health care assistant, and administrative staff.
The team covers the whole or bucks county and provided services which include pulmonary rehab, home oxygenA valid driving license is essential for this role as the post holder will be required to travel within Buckinghamshire Main duties of the job To provide an administrative and clerical service to facilitate the smooth running of the Hospital @ home serviceTo assist with the team in certain delegated clinical therapy duties.To input data onto spreadsheets and run simple reports as requested for national audits and local reportingTo ensure that clinical areas are maintained in a clean and tidy conditionTo be responsible for ordering stock and non-stock supplies.Undertake duties to assist the Team as required.

Person Specification EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING Essential Good literary and numeric skills Ability to undertake training to acquire the skills appropriate for development in the post Desirable Level (3) NVQ or equivalent EXPERIENCE Essential Previous caring experience of working in health or social care environment Desirable Previous NHS/Social care /Voluntary organisation experience SKILLS, ABILITIES & KNOWLEDGE Essential Good interpersonal skills Good verbal communication skills Good ability to listen Good written skills IT skills Awareness of the needs of older people Ability to show patience and dependability Team player Desirable Awareness of the needs of people with long term conditions Understanding of Integrated Team SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES Essential Physically able to perform tasks whilst kneeling, bending and able to handle patients and equipment safely Valid and current driving license and car to be able to travel to locations throughout
