Person Specification Knowledge Essential Must understand basic requirements for individualised personal care Awareness of Safeguarding issues Recognise people's right to privacy and dignity, treating every person with respect Qualifications Essential NVQ 2 in care Educated to a good standard of general education equivalent to GCSE Maths & English level C or above Care Certificate or commitment to achieving within 2 weeks of commencement Desirable Care Certificate" qualification.
