Health And Safety Manager

Details of the offer

Are you ready to take ownership of health and safety in a thriving food manufacturing environment?
This is your chance to step into a key role, driving safety and collaboration for the operational environment, where your ideas and actions will truly make an impact!
We're looking for a Health and Safety Manager to take charge at a busy production site that plays a critical role in supplying top-tier products to global food giants.
With multiple high-performing production lines, this is your chance to shape safety culture in a fast-moving, high-stakes setting.
You'll report into the Head of Health and Safety and work closely with the rest of the team on site to implement innovative solutions, engage with staff on the shop floor, and drive meaningful change.
The role will come with plenty of autonomy for the location with extra development opportunities available.
Key duties of the Health and Safety Manager: Be a visible presence on the shop floor, connecting with staff, building trust, and encouraging a proactive approach to safety.
Inspire and empower teams to embrace safety as a shared responsibility, shifting mindsets and embedding best practices.
Conduct thorough risk assessments, lead daily briefings, and collaborate with staff to review site performance.
Help with installing a positive safety culture throughout the growing site.
Identify opportunities for innovation, implement practical solutions, and champion continuous improvement initiatives.
Create an environment where safety is a priority — not a box-ticking exercise.
Why you should apply for this Health and Safety Manager position: Opportunities for ongoing training, mentorship, and professional growth to advance your career.
Collaborate with an international team, gaining exposure to diverse practices and perspectives.
Join a well-established company with a proven track record in the food manufacturing industry and exciting future plans.
Long service rewards, annual leave increases, and regular reviews to ensure your hard work is rewarded.
Flexible working hours for your personal commitments.
Please apply if you: Hold a NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
Have at least three years in a manufacturing environment, with bonus points for food production experience.
Are a positive, proactive leader who thrives on collaboration and has the confidence to challenge the status quo.
If you're ready to inspire change, take ownership, and be part of a team-first culture, this is the perfect role for you!
Please note, due to the high volume of applicants, if you have not heard back within 10 working days, unfortunately, your application has not been successful
