We are looking for a resilient and motivated individual to be responsible for the coordination and review of information, resources and training in relation to the ongoing health and care needs of students within the College.
You will ensure consistent and robust information sharing practices take place between key staff, parents and other professionals, supporting the creation of risk assessments, support plans and policies to ensure the health and care needs of the students are met at College.

Main Responsibilities and Duties The successful applicant will be co-ordinating and reviewing information, resources and training in relation to the ongoing health and care needs of students within the College, ensuring consistent and robust information sharing practices take place between key staff, parents and other professionals, supporting the creation of risk assessments, support plans and policies to ensure the health and care needs of the students are met at College.
You will have a Level 4 Health and Social Care qualification or equivalent and a degree in a related field or equivalent substantial experience of managing the Health and Care needs of young people.
You may have a background in nursing, the healthcare sector or the education sector.
You will have experience of conducting assessments, writing risk assessments and care plans and keeping robust records.
You will be an excellent communicator who is able to form positive relationships and act as a role model and ambassador.
This is a permanent position, working 22.5 hours per week over an extended term-time of 42 weeks per year.
There is flexibility around the pattern of these hours within the standard working week of 8.30-17.00 Monday-Thursday and 08:30-16:30 Friday, as long as this includes Wednesday afternoons.
You will work across both the Medway and Maidstone campuses.
The pro rata salary bracket based on 22.5 hours over 42 weeks is £15,281 to £18,412 per annum.
All staff are required to Staff must complete mandatory annual Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in accordance with the number of hours set for their Department.
Travel between sites as and when required in accordance with their job role.

Ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with children and young people.
