Head Registered Veterinary Nurse Salary: £35,000 per year Location: Surrey Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time Head Registered Veterinary Nurse (HRVN) - Exciting Opportunity in West Byfleet, Surrey A fantastic opportunity has opened up for a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse (HRVN) at a well-established clinic in the picturesque town in Surrey.
The clinic is fully equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including a dental suite with CR7 dental radiography, modern X-ray technology, ultrasound, a fully equipped theatre, and in-house laboratory services.
This role offers a broad range of nursing responsibilities along with the day-to-day management of the practice.
The HRVN will work closely with the Branch Partner to further develop the clinic and its team, sharing best practices and supporting the development of student nurses.
The HRVN will also oversee a dedicated team of nurses and reception staff, with the full support of senior management.

Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional care to patients and clients.
Assist with surgeries, procedures, and manage pre- and post-operative activities.
Conduct nurse-led appointments and schedule 3 activities.
Monitor patient care and manage admissions and discharges.
Coordinate patient transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care services.
Dispense and check medications.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, practice, and operational standards.
Lead team briefings to ensure smooth practice operations.
Skills and Experience: RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
Proven experience delivering high-quality patient and client care.
Strong team player with experience supporting nurse consultations.
Skilled in coaching and influencing colleagues for optimal team performance.
