Job Overview: As the Head of Trade Sales, you will be responsible for driving our trade sales strategy and overseeing the development and management of relationships with our key trade partners.
You will work collaboratively with other departments to achieve our sales targets.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive trade sales strategy to drive revenue growth.
Manage and nurture relationships with key trade partners including travel agents, tour operators, and other trade clients.
Lead, mentor, and motivate the trade sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop compelling sales propositions and promotional materials.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with trade partners to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth.
Represent Holiday Best at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience in a senior sales role within the travel industry, preferably with a focus on trade sales.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with trade partners and stakeholders.
Knowledge of the UK travel market and industry trends.
