Description: Head of Surveying ServicesWe have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled, motivated and experienced Chartered Building Surveyor to spearhead the development and implementation of our Surveying Services proposition across the UK, which forms part of Claims Solutions within the Marsh Advisory practice.
This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in a Marsh office.Claims Solutions is an exciting Marsh business unit that brings together specialists in the field of forensic accountancy, surveying, engineering, adjusting and claims advocacy.
The advice the team provides falls into five distinct areas by providing solutions across insurance claims preparation & management, advocacy dispute resolution (quantum support), business interruption (BI) insurance review, claims defensibility and supporting clients with dispute avoidance/resolution.
One of the new disciplines within the suite of services is a UK wide Surveying Service focusing on supporting clients with post loss design and project management of perils reinstatement works.This is an opportunity to have a leading role in developing a proposition within the world's largest major loss and complex claims team, applying Building Surveying skills to a wide range of clients' perils claim.
Be part of the inception of the first major insurance broker developed in house Surveying Services proposition in the UK where your primary goal will be to strengthen client relationships, enhance client retention, and provide a differentiated service through the utilisation of our own surveyors on the project management of perils insurance claims.
You will be fully supported by experience claims professionals many with a background in Surveying and complex claims enabling you to succeed in the role as part of a Claims Solutions team of 45+ colleagues' part of a broader Marsh Advisory and Claims proposition in Marsh UK of over150 team members, all focused on the best experience and outcomes for clients.
