About this role: The Head Of Product will formalize Billfold's product management function and lead all product development and implementation in collaboration with Operations and Development leadership. They will develop and maintain Billfold's product roadmap, product feedback mechanism, and product launch processes, and development life cycle. The Head Of Product will also act as the product communication hub for Development, Sales, Client Success, and Operations by streamlining and facilitating product communication, feedback and education.
What you will do: Product Roadmap & Development: Collaborate with Operations and Development leadership to define the product vision, goals, and strategic direction. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, new product and feature developments. Conduct A/B testing and user research to validate product hypotheses and gather insights. Collect, analyze, prioritize, plan, and scope product features, enhancements, and bugs based on strategic goals, customer feedback, and business priorities for inclusion in product roadmap. Develop and communicate the product roadmap to internal teams, executives, and other stakeholders. Regularly review and update the product roadmap based on changes in market dynamics, business priorities, and customer feedback. Track the progress of ongoing projects and initiatives against the roadmap.Product & Feature Launch Management: Develop and lead product and feature launch processes cross-functionally for Development, Sales, Client Success, and Deployment Operations. Conduct and monitor QA and live testing of new updates and fixes and ensure seamless implementation. Coordinate communication about new updates, upcoming changes, and ongoing development to clients, Sales, Client Success, and Deployment Operations.Product & Feature Education: Act as a product subject matter expert to support the development of internal product and feature education and training initiatives in collaboration with the Operations Administrator and HR. Act as a product subject matter expert to support the development and maintenance of a customer education portal in collaboration with Client Success. Assist Marketing with the development of ongoing features highlights and customer education. Facilitate live trainings and webinars for internal teams and clients as needed.Hardware: Custom projects, Stand development, Component review.Knowledge & Skills (Required): 10+ years of progressive product management experience in B2B software and hardware.Robust experience with product roadmap development and management.Expertise in SCRUM, Kanban and Agile development methodologies.Knowledge of leading UX/UI design principles.Ability to travel to approximately 25% of the time (once a month) to deployments.Possess empathy and understanding of Billfold's client needs, painpoints, and experience with similar technologies.Knowledge & Skills (Preferred): Prior experience product management experience in startup environment.Point of Sale Industry Experience.Prior experience with hospitality and/or live events technology.Physical Requirements: Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.Must be able to walk short distances, pick up materials, and sit for extended periods of time.Benefits: Health, Dental, and Vision via ADP Totalsource.Gym reimbursement, HSA, and pre-tax OCB parking & commuter benefits.Three weeks of PTO.Access to Billfold events and venues, with discretionary tickets for friends and family.$160,000 - $199,998 a year.
