Hours: Full Time 37.5 Hours per week Below covers everything you need to know about what this opportunity entails, as well as what is expected from applicants.
(Upon completing your probationary period, you will be eligible to join the 4 Day Week program, which allows you to work 20% fewer hours without a decrease in salary) Contract: Permanent Location: Flexible - ideally London, Liverpool or Manchester, with hybrid working Salary: £60,000 plus London Weighting if applicable Start date: The successful candidate will ideally start in mid to late March 2025 due to the replacement of existing staff.

Job Overview: To lead Brook's People & Organisational Development (POD) function, providing outstanding support across the organisation.
The post holder will develop and deliver strategies to invest in the performance, diversity and wellbeing of Brook's staff, and implement central policies and processes to ensure consistency across Brook's services and teams.
The post holder will oversee casework and lead the People & OD impact of any change management, providing expert advice to managers and the Executive team.
As a member of Brook's senior management, the post holder will contribute to strategic planning and the successful achievement of the annual business plan.
The essential criteria for this role are: Substantial experience managing an HR/People and Organisational Development function, ideally within a voluntary sector organization.
Experience handling complex employment issues.
Up-to-date knowledge of People and Organisational Development issues, employment legislation, and best practices.
