This is a unique opportunity to build, create and manage your own New Homes department, supported by a well-established, successful, and respected leader in the Oxford property market. The successful candidate will join our broader New Homes division, with teams based in Cambridge and Norwich. Our team delivers exceptional service in the sale and letting of a wide range of properties, working with boutique developers as well as large national housebuilders. From the early stages of development to final sales, we provide expert guidance on designing, planning, launching, and selling new homes.
As a result of growth and continued success within our Oxford residential development team, we're seeking an experienced New Homes professional to lead this new initiative. We are looking for a commercially minded, strategic leader who excels at building relationships, driving business growth, and attracting new clients. Candidates must have prior experience in a leadership role within New Homes or Residential Sales, with a strong client-facing sales background, particularly within the Oxford market. Given the new nature of this role, the ability to build strong internal relationships, especially with our residential development team, is essential. Experience in team leadership, managing financial performance and delivering projects within budget is also required.
Key Responsibilities: Grow the New Homes market share in Oxford.Conduct land development appraisals considering unit types, values, and client demands.Collaborate with the Residential Development team to secure potential sites.Manage new home sites from inception to completion, overseeing design, planning, marketing, and customer care programs.Prepare marketing and sales reports, attend launches, and manage sales services on-site.Drive business development, targeting new prospects and pitching for new opportunities.Contribute to the New Homes annual business strategy and support the team's marketing and PR activities.Client Relationship & Project Management: Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring long-term partnerships.Project manage small to large-scale schemes, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.Continuously seek ways to improve client relationship management and promote Bidwells' services.Build relationships with colleagues across divisions to create cross-selling opportunities.Manage the Oxford New Homes order book, ensuring accurate financial processes and maximising profitability.Participate in networking events and contribute to the firm's broader business strategy.What We're Looking For: Proven experience in the new homes industry with significant client-facing sales experience.Passionate about real estate and the opportunity of building a new department.Ability to attract new instructions and clients, with a commercial mindset.Strong relationship management skills and the ability to lead and manage a team effectively.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Knowledge of financial management and the ability to deliver projects within budget.If you're passionate about the property market and want to work with a dynamic team that works with some of the country's leading landowners, developers and house builders, we want to hear from you!
