We have a fantastic opportunity for two Heads of Internal Audit to join our team.
These roles are great for people who love to lead and manage a team, whilst developing and overseeing our financial internal audit plan, and establishing strong relationships across Aviva.
A bit about the job: Aviva's Internal Audit purpose is to help the Board and Executive Management to protect the assets, reputation and sustainability of Aviva by providing independent and objective assurance to improve operations.
Reporting to the Finance Risk Audit Director, you'll support the assessment of the effectiveness of our control framework and report to Senior Management, Audit and Risk committees on risk management and control efficiency.
Skills and experience we're looking for: Analytical and decision-making skills, including strong commerciality and experience of prioritising areas of highest risk.Delivery and reporting of risk and control assurance activity, whether in a first, second, (or ideally) in a third line role.People leadership skills, developing and steering diverse teams.Excellent communication skills, influencing senior management.Technical financial skills / or have a highly technical financial background.Experience in insurance or financial services, audit/consultancy, or regulatory roles.What you'll get for this role: National salary £105,000, London salary £115,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).Bonus opportunity - 25% of annual salary.
