The Role  We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Group Reporting & Tax to oversee our Group Statutory Consolidation and annual filings, including notes.
This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards, providing advice on the impact of any new or amended Financial Reporting Standards (FRS), and owning the Group Accounting policies and guidelines.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all compliance filings, the Company Delegation of Authority, and ensuring the timeliness of all statutory filings and tax returns.
Additionally, this role involves owning the group transfer pricing policy and strategy, and working closely with all the Group's external Auditors and Tax partners.
Key Responsibilities  Oversee the Group Statutory Consolidation and annual filings, including notes.
Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and provide advice on the impact of any new or amended FRS.
Own the Group Accounting policies and guidelines.
Manage all compliance filings.
Own the Company Delegation of Authority.
Ensure the timeliness of all statutory filings and tax returns.
Develop and manage the group transfer pricing policy and strategy.
Collaborate with all the Group's external Auditors and Tax partners.
Develop and execute the strategic vision for the group reporting and tax function aligned with organizational goals.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness of the group reporting and tax operations.
Ensure seamless operation of group reporting and tax functions, monitoring KPIs for service quality.
Manage transformation projects with detailed activities, timelines, and governance to ensure successful setup and migration of services.
Key Requirements  Qualified accountant, preferably trained in a top 10 firm  Experience with complex consolidations in multiple global geographies.
Experience working with a highly acquisitive company at a fast pace, including acquisition accounting, fair value adjustments, deferred considerations, debt facilities, equity/share issues, etc.
Experience with business integrations and the impact on group reporting and consolidation.
Experience working with investors, preferably private equity investors.
Strong knowledge of transfer pricing policies.
Exceptional attention to detail and creative problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent time management, decision-making, and organization skills.
Enthusiastic and creative leader with the ability to inspire others.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong financial acumen and a proven track record of continual enhancements to the design and results of service levels metrics.
Able to balance providing exceptional service with the need to improve financial performance, and increase revenue and profits.
