Head of Grocery – Radnor Hills Location: UK-wide Salary: Competitive Car Allowance Bonus Structure Radnor Hills is a leading supplier to the UK grocery retail sector, renowned for our innovative branded and own-label products.
With over 20 years of trusted partnerships and a growing list of new collaborators, we continue to expand our influence and impact in the grocery market.
We're seeking a dynamic, commercially driven Head of Grocery to take full ownership of the grocery channel, driving sales and brand growth.
In this pivotal role, you will manage key accounts and support one other team member within the channel.
This is an opportunity for someone who thrives in leading from the front while being fully empowered to shape the future of Radnor Hills' grocery strategy.
Purpose of the Role: To lead the grocery channel by driving sales, growing our brand presence, and increasing own-label partnerships while managing and mentoring a small team.
You will be the driving force behind the channel's success, with the full support of senior leadership to execute your vision.
Key Responsibilities: Channel Ownership: Take full responsibility for the grocery channel, leading all commercial activities while managing and supporting one team member.
Account Management: Own four of the top eight UK grocery accounts, building strong, lasting relationships and positioning Radnor Hills as the obvious partner for new initiatives.
In addition, you'll engage with senior figures across the other key accounts, supporting your team members and driving sales across the entire portfolio.
Strategic Sales Growth: Drive the expansion of Radnor Hills' branded and own-label products, ensuring the brand is always front-of-mind for retailers when new opportunities arise.
Leadership & Mentorship: Support and mentor your team member to maximize their potential while ensuring the entire channel operates at a high level of performance.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with category, marketing, logistics, planning/ production and NPD teams to develop JBPs, promotions, and accurate forecasting for critical accounts.
Commercial Strategy: Set and lead the commercial strategy for your accounts, driving innovation and exceeding sales targets to support Radnor Hills' growth ambitions.
Brand Advocacy: Be the face of Radnor Hills in the grocery sector, enhancing brand visibility and penetration in the market.
About You: We are looking for a confident, proactive leader who can take ownership of the grocery channel and drive its success.
You will need to be commercially sharp, with a proven track record in grocery, and passionate about delivering results that support Radnor Hills' growth.
You'll also thrive in developing others, as you will manage and mentor one team member within the channel.
Key Competencies: 5 years of experience in the grocery retail sector with a focus on branded or own-label products.
Strong commercial skills with a history of delivering sustained sales growth.
A proven ability to build and maintain key relationships with major grocery retailers.
Leadership and mentoring abilities to support team development and performance.
Collaborative mindset, working cross-functionally to achieve common goals.
A strong drive for results and accountability for performance.
