The company has the backing of a FTSE 250 business and launched to the public late 2020 with a full UK wide TV advertising campaign.
As Head of Engineering, you'll be responsible for running multiple squads and will report to the Director of Engineering.
You'll work alongside Heads of Product, Delivery, and Design to guide the evolution of serverless event-driven systems in an AWS environment whilst also helping to scale the product engineering department to 300+ people.
Skills: Background as a hands-on software engineer Servant leader for cross-functional product engineering teams Experience creating an agile/lean ethos and DevOps culture Deep understanding of engineering best practices Strong knowledge of cloud and serverless architectures The compensation is competitive – up to £100,000 plus benefits including a 20% bonus, 5% pension, private medical, paid AWS certifications, and regular flexible/remote working.
