Job Title - Head of Compensation & Benefits Salary - £90,000 - £100,000 plus bonus Length - Permanent, Hybrid.
Location - The City - London DESCRIPTION Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Develop and implement a compensation and benefits strategy aligned with business goals and tailored to UK & European markets.
Conduct market benchmarking and ensure competitive pay structures, staying ahead of benefit trends to enhance employee value.
Conduct job evaluations and salary surveys.
Lead job evaluation and grading processes, maintaining role consistency, pay equity, and supporting career progression.
Collaborate with payroll teams to ensure seamless integration of pay and benefits, addressing compliance and operational challenges.
Address employee queries regarding compensation and benefits.
Manage and deliver key HR projects, driving process improvements and leveraging data for decision making.
Supervise and mentor one direct report, fostering development and aligning efforts with broader HR initiatives.
Prepare and present insights on compensation budgets, benefits uptake, and strategic impact to senior leadership.
PROFILE To be considered for this role, you must: Proven ability to develop strategies tailored to the UK & European markets.
Strong skills in ensuring competitive pay structures and staying ahead of benefits trends.
Experience conducting job evaluations and salary surveys to maintain pay equity.
Ability to lead job grading processes and support career progression.
Expertise in integrating pay and benefits with payroll teams while ensuring compliance.
Ability to resolve employee queries regarding compensation and benefits.
Proven experience in managing HR projects and driving process improvements.
Ability to mentor and guide a direct report.
Experience preparing and presenting compensation and benefits reports to senior leadership.
