This is an exciting opportunity to join our specialised team in building electrical wiring harnesses to our exacting standards, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities Assist senior technicians and the workshop manager in the daily operations of the harness workshop.
Support the assembly of complex, first-time builds and prototypes.
Select and prepare lineside stock parts required for assembly.
Identify and report any build-related issues, deviations, and continuous improvement opportunities to your line manager.
Provide guidance and advice to trainee technicians.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping regarding work area, documentation, tools, and products.
Perform line inspections.
Fulfill any duties required by the company to ensure quality products and services are delivered to customers on time and in full.
Follow all procedures and processes to meet the day-to-day requirements of the business, as well as quality and health and safety standards.
Achieve continuity of agreed deadlines through flexible working patterns.
Actively participate in training activities provided by the company to ensure all high-quality build standards are met and continuously improved.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Previous experience with OEM or System 25 harnesses (motorsport/aerospace) is a mandatory requirement.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings is a mandatory requirement.
Experience with Cirris or other electrical harness testing software is desired, but not mandatory.
