Group Company Secretary - 3659

Our client is one of the country's leading leisure businesses, at the initial stages of considering a move to the main market.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience of preparing a company for a main market listing.
The successful candidate will be fully qualified and have proven company secretarial experience gained in a listed environment.
Reporting to the Chair and CE, you will head a small team.
The successful candidate is expected to: have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with people at all levels; be able to work under pressure and have a resilient attitude; be able to adopt a diplomatic approach towards discussions; have excellent attention to detail and a well-organised approach to work; be capable of handling a varied and demanding workload in a timely way, prioritising work as appropriate; be self-motivated, reliable and hard-working; be a team-player; act as a calming influence as necessary; and bring gravitas to the role and be able to provide advice and support to board members and senior members of management in a confident, persuasive and re-assuring way.
