Create Solutions that will enable a better tomorrow To grow our team in Glasgow, we are looking for a Graduate Engineering Geologist to join us.
Working on a wide range of projects you'll co-create on some of the most prestigious infrastructure programmes in the UK.
You'll also be supported by our engineers on your on-going professional development (Chartership) with a tailored plan to achieve your career aspirations.
Your key responsibilities will be: Undertaking engineering geological, geotechnical and rock engineering work in accordance with project requirements Preparing calculations, undertaking regional- and site-scale engineering geological mapping and modelling, writing desk study reports, ground investigation reports and geotechnical design reports, preparing ground investigation specifications Checking design calculations, reports and drawings done by other engineers With the support of your project manager, plan and prioritise your workload, reporting back on progress against a project budget and programme Being responsible for delivering your own work to a high technical standard, ensuring accuracy through a diligent and conscientious approach to self-checking Attending site visits and client meetings as required Supervising ground investigations Your skills.

On top of that, you'll have: You'll hold a BSc in Geology together with an MSc in either Engineering Geology or Geotechnical Engineering You'll aspire to become a Chartered Geologist or Chartered Engineer Ideally have some experience of working in a design environment (year in industry) Be able to demonstrate an understanding and enthusiasm for engineering geology or geotechnical engineering and have a personal commitment to technical excellence Can work in a multi-disciplinary team
