Title: GPU Procurement Lead Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and project-oriented GPU Procurement Lead to lead the procurement and deployment of hardware infrastructure for our client's GPU-powered clusters.
This is a hands-on role that involves working directly with the co-founders to translate customer requirements into efficient and cost-effective hardware solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Understand the technical specifications and interdependencies of cluster components to ensure seamless integration of GPU solutions.
Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing components, coordinating delivery, and overseeing installation.
Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors and suppliers to optimize costs while ensuring quality and reliability.
Collaborate closely with the engineering team to troubleshoot issues and make necessary adjustments to hardware configurations.
Provide project management oversight to ensure timely delivery and deployment of GPU cluster solutions.
Maintain strong relationships with key partners and suppliers to stay informed of market trends and emerging product offerings.
Required Skills and Experience: Extensive experience in building and deploying complex hardware infrastructure, particularly in a GPU-accelerated environment.
Demonstrated technical expertise in server, storage, and networking components.
Proven ability to manage multiple vendors and suppliers with a strong focus on cost optimization and project delivery.
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to navigate technical challenges effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with procurement best practices and experience negotiating with OEMs.
Preferred Qualifications: Background in a technical role, such as a solution engineer or systems architect.
Experience working with hyperscale cloud providers or large-scale data center deployments.
Knowledge of the GPU ecosystem and emerging hardware trends.
