The candidate for this position should ideally have expertise in General Dermatology, covering a broad range of conditions such as inflammatory, infectious, genetic, autoimmune, pigmentary, metabolic, allergic, and connective tissue dermatoses.
We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable in common dermatological disorders, including those affecting the hair and nails, and has experience in sub-specialties like Acute Dermatology, Paediatric Dermatology, Genital Dermatoses, Patch Testing, and Biologics. Experience in managing Skin cancers and proficiency in dermatoscopy are essential.
Main duties of the job Carry out surgical procedures within a one stop clinic setting. Promote evidence-based clinical practice. Familiarize and actively promote adherence to the regulatory framework including NICE and National Service Framework Guidance, and promote professional standards as per The Duties of a Doctor. Be involved in and actively manage complaints and any medico-legal claims in their area of practice, management of serious incidents, and responsibility for sharing any organizational learning from these. Person Specification Qualifications/Training Essential Full GMC registration with a Licence to Practice. Shall be on the GP Specialist Register. MBBS or qualification of an equivalent level.
