As the Global Safety, Risk, and Security Regional Advisor for Warehouse and Logistics, you will lead safety, risk, and security initiatives across multiple logistics sites in the UKI region.
This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with safety standards, mitigating risks, and protecting the company's people, assets, and reputation.
You will also provide critical support during emergencies, advise on safety and security measures, and work closely with operational leadership to maintain a safe and secure working environment.
Your role in our mission Implement and execute IM Safety, Risk, and Security policies across multiple logistics sites.
Provide guidance and support to site leadership on Health and Safety matters.
Manage safety reporting systems, including incidents, near-misses, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Ensure compliance with governmental safety regulations and assist in achieving ISO45001 accreditation.
Support the development of safety assessments, operating procedures, and training programs.
Provide expert advice and support during emergencies, volatile periods, or significant business disruptions.
Develop strong networks within the organization and external security and law enforcement agencies to ensure up-to-date knowledge of industry practices.
Valued skills and experience Minimum NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent; full understanding of UK & Ireland H&S legislation.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in warehouse logistics and 3PL operations.
Proven experience in managing security, risk, and safety in large, multi-site environments.
Ability to travel across multiple sites and occasionally internationally, including overnight stays.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement risk management programs.
Excellent communication and training delivery skills, both written and verbal.
Self-motivated and entrepreneurial with the ability to work autonomously and prioritize workloads.
