Global Business Development Director Department: Client Success - Global Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: UK Description What is the purpose of the role: The Global Business Development Director will play a crucial role accelerating our global sales and revenue growth by expanding our client base, and maximising revenue and profit generation opportunities with both new and incumbent clients across the Ebiquity group of companies.
Key Responsibilities Sales strategy and leadership: • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with Ebiquity's overall goals and objectives.
• Develop a detailed understanding of the full range of Ebiquity's products and services, the client problems that we solve and understanding of how they are delivered.
• Ensure that the full breadth of Ebiquity's product portfolio is sold in the market.
• Identify new business opportunities and market trends to drive growth and expansion.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to set revenue goals and track performance against targets.
New business development: • Lead the development and implementation of sales initiatives to attract new clients and retain existing ones across multiple markets.
• Proactively prospect and identify new business, respond to RFPs, write proposals and lead pitches.
• Leverage insight led selling techniques, thought leadership, data driven and value-based selling to build a trusted partner status with target clients.
• End to end management of a pipeline, focused on closing revenue at scale and speed, prioritised to revenue impact.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners and industry stakeholders to drive revenue growth.
• Provide strategic guidance on product development and market positioning to maximise growth.
Eminence and brand development: • Represent Ebiquity at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities to enhance visibility.
• Contribute towards profile-raising activities (e.g.
panel participant at events, social media posts, etc).
• Enhance Customer Experience by driving a focus on improving the overall customer experience by aligning sales efforts with customer expectations and brand promises.
Collaboration and communication: • Foster a positive cultural environment and strong collaboration within the Client Success team.
• Build strong internal relationships e.g.
with specialism stakeholders and functional services stakeholders.
• Actively support in the development of a sales culture within the Ebiquity business.
• Collaborate with the product team to build strong relationships, providing market feedback to inform product development.
Support product launches and use insights and product knowledge to enhance sales conversations.
• Support the Client Success Directors in pitches, upsell and cross sale opportunities.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise What will you bring to the role: You are an expert media practitioner and fully conversant in all media.
Strong digital media knowledge and ability to speak proficiently with clients about our digital products.
Good knowledge global media markets.
Experienced selling large scale, complex deals, direct to advertiser in multiple markets.
Proactive, solutions focused and results driven.
Excellence in client needs discovery and solution orientated sales.
Can mobilise and motivate internal stakeholders to support on new business pitches and deliver the best solution to the client need.
Agility and flexibility to keep all internal stakeholders aware of what is happening on the accounts.
Ability to navigate through some of the client's internal politics and ways of working.

• Revenue from the cross-sell and up-sell of Ebiquity Group services.
