CNC Machinist/Toolmaker - Roles & Responsibilities Set and operate CNC machines using Heidenhain controls to produce high-quality products, as per engineering drawings and specifications.
Design, manufacture, and maintain custom tools, jigs, fixtures, and moulds.
Optimise machine performance, improve cycle times, and maintain tight tolerances.
Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet required specifications.
Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and tooling to ensure they operate efficiently.
Work closely with the engineering and production teams to understand project requirements, provide technical insights, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
CNC Machinist/Toolmaker - Skills & Experience Strong background as CNC Machinist/Tool Maker, with significant experience using Heidenhain controls.
Strong understanding of machining processes, materials, and tooling.
Exceptional precision and a meticulous approach to work, ensuring all products meet quality standards.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machining processes, tooling, and programming.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
