German Speaking Business Administrator

Details of the offer

Responsibilities include  overseeing all aspects of logistics ensuring the smooth flow of raw materials from suppliers to clients providing business development support within the German market.
Daily duties are as listed below but not limited to Requesting for quotations from shipping and trucking companies; Dealing with all shipping related queries over email and telephone; Managing orders and coordinating stock of materials and equipment; Processing all customs paperwork and shipping documentation Providing accurate shipping instructions and coordinating all freight, optimizing routings for cost savings Contacting potential suppliers for new stock.
Providing general administrative support to the team at all times, and any other office duties required on an ad hoc basis.
Experience/Skills: Fluent German speaker.
Previous experience or some knowledge of the waste management/recycling industry would be advantageous.
Previous experience in shipping/logistics is desired but not essential.
Quick learner who can think on their feet and use their own initiative.
Confident user of MS Outlook, MS Excel and MS Word.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment - working to deadlines and ability to react to short notice changes to suit operational requirements.
Accuracy and attention to detail is essential.

Ability to work in a team.

Communication skills.
Flexible approach.
Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
Salary: £27K .
Benefits include private medical insurance; enhanced maternity pay and pension.
Mobile phone and laptop will also be provided for hybrid working.
The role is office based with some hybrid working Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm
