Generic Specialist Practitioner - Nurse Specialist (Cardiac Rehabilitation)

The RoleWe are seeking to recruit a caring, dedicated and enthusiastic registered nurse to join the Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialist Nurse team at University Hospital Wishaw.
The successful candidate will work autonomously, as well as part of the wider multi-disciplinary team, to provide care, education and support to patients with new and existing cardiac conditions.
Relevant clinical experience and comprehensive cardiology knowledge is essential.
An accredited clinical examination qualification is desirable (or willingness to undertake).
As part of a multidisciplinary / multiagency team, the post holder will manage a spec list caseload, using evidence based practice and client centred principles to assess, plan and implement care, provide expert advice and support, operating within a defined specialism across NHS Lanarkshire.
To contribute to the development and implementation of a programme of clinical audit and research activity.
Contribute to the supervision, education and development of members of the multidisciplinary team.
