General Primary Teaching Assistant - Chesham This Chesham Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Year 6 general primary teaching assistant to join the team ASAP.
The role of the general primary teaching assistant is to assist in the planning, delivery and assessment of learning activities for students in primary classes.
The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure that all children have access to a high quality learning experience.
The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with children in Year 6.
Previous experience of working with young people in a school setting would be advantageous.
The successful candidate must also be able to demonstrate the ability to adapt and be involved in all aspects of the school They should possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team, as well as take instruction and be professional.
You will be working closely with the class teacher and support the development of the pupils, both academically and socially.
This will involve maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment, as well as helping to prepare and deliver lessons.

The successful candidate will be expected to help with administrative tasks such as photocopying and filing.
