The prison houses around 692 patients aged between 18-65 years of age.
Within this role you will be working in receptions supporting the intake of new patients into the prison.
You will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team including the substance misuse nurses, and early days mental health team to deliver high quality healthcare services.
Suitable applicant for this role must have experience and feel confident prescribing controlled substance.
Hours Monday to Friday 6pm-10pm Saturday 2-6 We are also able to consider this as a job share Salary This position is a part time role working 24 hour per week, with an annual salary of up to £130,000 FTE per annum depending on experience.

You will Deliver first class healthcare to a diverse group of patients, and therefore as a General Practitioner at Practice Plus Group you get the opportunity to further develop your knowledge in areas you wouldnt usually experience within a practice, or even A&E environment.
Provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patients requirements and make timely decisions regarding future management.

Qualifications required MBChB or MBBS Inclusion on the GMC Register and GP Performers List Evidence of engagement with annual appraisal Experience working as a General Practitioner in community general practice Evidence of continuing professional development Ability to work with patients with a history of substance misuse RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or prepared to undertake these qualifications Secure environments are one of the most challenging, yet rewarding places for healthcare professionals to work.
