Boasting a strong tourist trade and an array of events throughout the week, the site has many sides to it.
With a long-standing reputation for delivering exceptional events, from corporate gatherings, private celebrations, and regular DJ sets, we are proud of our strong trade, and continued success.
As we look to continue this good form, were seeking a dynamic, experienced General Manager to lead and further elevate our operations.
Key Responsibilities: As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the venues operations, ensuring an exceptional client experience while maintaining the highest standards of service and profitability.
Your key responsibilities will include: Leadership & Team Management: Lead, motivate, and develop a strong, established team, ensuring a collaborative and high-performance culture across all departments (front-of-house, operations, catering, sales, and marketing).
Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations of the venue, ensuring smooth and efficient event execution, from initial booking through to event completion, and managing the regular ongoing events .
This includes managing schedules, staff rosters, health & safety protocols, and event logistics.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, private individuals, and event planners.
Ensure the venue exceeds client expectations and delivers bespoke, memorable experiences.
Financial & Budgetary Management: Monitor and manage financial performance, including budget setting, cost control, pricing strategies, and maximizing revenue opportunities from both corporate and private event bookings.
Qualifications & Skills: Proven experience as a General Manager ideally with experience in managing events and live music.
Service focused management, prioritising a hands on, customer centric approach Strong track record of managing a team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
Exceptional organizational, financial, and problem-solving skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure.
Strong business acumen, with the ability to develop and execute strategies to drive revenue and profitability.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to lead and engage with diverse audiences.
