Role: General Foreman (Water sector) Location: Midlands Salary: Up to £55,00 p/a (dependent on experience) Additional: Company vehicle or car allowance Job Type: Full-time - Permanent Are you a driven and ambitious General Foreman with prior experience in large scale civils and utilities projects and looking for a fresh opportunity?We have an exciting new opportunity with our client, an integrated design and delivery solution provider within the utilities sector.They are looking for an experienced and motivated General Foreman to strengthen their construction team.
Reporting to the Site Manager, your role will be to provide support in ensuring the safe management of a section of work on major projects and control all site activities on smaller projects.
Key duties:Alongside the Site Manager, co-ordinate and control initial site set-up, actively installing framework systems and procedures.Help to apply and enforce methods and controls to ensure the most effective and continuous use of the frameworks resources.Appraise the security risk to all property under your control and install security levels commensurate to the relative values.Actively support the Site Manager to maintain and enforce safety standards as required by statute and in accordance with our safety policies.Work to method statements and risk assessments.Ensure compliance to all HS&E policies and procedures.Requirements:ONC or HNC in a construction disciplineNumber of years experience in a similar role in utilities environmentsSMSTS/SSSTSFirst AidPreferably confined space trainedExperience within the water treatment industry, ideally within non-infrastructure areas What they offer:Company car or car allowance25 days holiday plus bank holsCompany pension scheme, matched up to 10%Life assurance cover 4x annual salaryPrivate Medical insurance, employee assistance programme and discount schemesIf you feel you are suited to this role, then please apply with an updated CV and I will get in touch as soon as possible.
