Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and versatile General Assistant to join our team in Glenrothes, Fife.
As a General Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting various departments and ensuring smooth operations within our organization.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs and requests promptly and professionally Assist in food and beverage service, ensuring a friendly and efficient dining experience for guests Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment Support various departments as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability Comply with health and safety regulations, including food service and catering guidelines Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all work areas Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive work atmosphere Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge Qualifications Passion for customer service and hospitality Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with a focus on efficiency and organization Adaptability to changing priorities and the ability to multitask effectively Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Proficiency in time management and prioritization Basic computer literacy Previous experience in a similar role, especially in the food service or hospitality industry, is preferred but not required Willingness to learn and grow within the organization Additional Information This is a 6 month position - but could become a permanent position for the right candidate Please note that the site will be closed for 2 weeks at Christmas - these would be unpaid as holiday leave would not have been accrued given the start date Full PVG check will done for sercurity clearance
