Fully Qualified History Teacher

Fully Qualified History Teacher Location: East of England, Essex, West Thurrock Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £33,075 - £43,607 per annum Job Duties: Plan, prepare and deliver engaging history lessons to students Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, exams, and coursework Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Degree in History or a related field Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Education: Degree in History or a related field Experience: Previous experience teaching history at the secondary school level Knowledge and Skills: Thorough understanding of historical concepts and events Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities Effective classroom management skills Proficient in using educational technology to enhance learning Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Education Experience in leading extracurricular history activities Working Conditions: Full-time position with regular school hours Classroom-based teaching with some extracurricular responsibilities Opportunities for professional development and career progression All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
