Full Stack Software Engineer

Global technology company in Edinburgh is looking to hire experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to their expanding devops and tools team as they work on a range of new projects.
This team works across the organisation to provide tools and devops infrastructure to streamline the development, release, and deployment of software.
This role will suit a versatile software engineer who enjoys working in a varied role and has a passion for developing innovative and high quality tools.
Key responsibilities: Design and develop innovative tools, infrastructure, and systems to enhance software development.
Collaborate closely with software developers to automate and refine the development and release workflows.
Partner with software development teams to help them follow established best practices and processes.
Key skills/experience required: Expertise in software development for platforms, infrastructure or devops environments Skilled in devops, CI/CD methodologies and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Strong experience with Typescript, Python and other languages (such as JavaScript, Java, Groovy, or Rust) Experience with containerization technologies, specifically Docker Highly proficient in Git and GitHub workflows, with experience contributing to open-source projects on GitHub Experience in web full stack development, using a range of languages and frameworks eg Node, React, Angular, etc Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms (GCP, Azure) Exposure to C/C++ and experience in embedded systems development Agile This is a hybrid role role - requiring 3 days per week in their Edinburgh office.
