Title : Freelance UX Researcher Start : Monday 6th January 2025 Length : Tuesday 31st March 2026 Day rate : £575 per day (maximum) IR35 : Inside IR35 SC Cleared : MUST be SC Cleared Experience : Must have worked in the government sector before Client : Government Agency Location : Exeter Working Arrangement : Hybrid: 1 day per week in Exeter, the rest of the days are remote Brief : The service should help users complete their goal of acquiring the data they need and deliver their goal of data being used to create social value and economic benefits.
You will be responsible for planning and carrying out user research activities.
This role will form part of the dedicated User-Centred Design team.
User Researcher to support their data delivery programme.
This role will be embedded in a multidisciplinary team.
You will be in the Data Delivery Programme: - Expected to work independently.
- Recruit participants for user research and schedule research for data delivery services.
- Analyse and synthesise user research findings using a range of methodologies and techniques.
- Involve the team in user research to help everyone develop a deep understanding of the users.
- Be an active member of the UCD practice to support a user-centred culture across the organisation.
- Present findings and user insights to stakeholders, teams and users to help align and inform decision-making.
- Conduct user research to provide insights that inform the creation or iteration of the agency's data delivery products.
