We are seeking an analytical and detail oriented FP&A Financial Modelling Associate to join the team to assist in developing and maintaining models to support the bank's strategic reviews, long term business and regulatory planning and special projects, such as new ventures, capital/debt raising, and M&A.Reporting to the Senior Financial Modelling Manager, this role is instrumental in supporting the Bank's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and strategic decision making processes.
The role offers an exciting opportunity for professional growth and development in a fast paced environment.You will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively across multiple functions within the bank.The role will include the following responsibilities: Financial Modelling - Assist with running and refining existing financial models to ensure forecasts capture relevant data efficiently and accurately.
This includes running scenarios for strategy planning and regulatory purposes.
Decision Support - Provide analytical support to other areas of the business to delivermeaningful insight which will be delivered to key stakeholders, Business Planning - Assist with the strategic and financial planning processes including short term rolling forecasts, annual budgets and the long term strategic plan, Requirements Prior experience or exposure to financial models is ideal but not essential.
A strong desire to improve your financial modelling ability is critical.
Excel experience: Strong foundations in Excel.
Chartered Accountancy qualification (ACA/CA etc.)
