Job Title: Kitchen Fitter / Welder Location: Rugby Pay Rate: £14.50-£16.00 per hour depending on experience Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Fitter / Welder with TIG welding experience to join our team in Rugby.
This role involves installing and fitting stainless steel kitchen units and work surfaces to a high standard, ensuring quality and precision in every installation.
Candidates must be willing to work flexible hours and travel for projects as needed.
Key Responsibilities: * Install and fit stainless steel kitchen units, worktops, and appliances according to client specifications.
* Measure, cut, and assemble kitchen components with accuracy.
* Perform TIG welding on stainless steel to complete precise, high-quality installations.
* Ensure installations meet safety and quality standards.
* Read and interpret kitchen plans and technical drawings.
* Use hand and power tools effectively to ensure high-quality workmanship.
* Communicate effectively with team members and clients to meet project specifications.
* Troubleshoot installation issues and provide solutions to maintain installation schedules.
Requirements: * Experience in stainless steel kitchen fitting or similar metal fabrication roles.
* Proficiency in TIG welding on stainless steel.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and layouts.
* Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines in construction and fitting.
* Strong attention to detail with high precision in fitting, welding, and assembly work.
* Must be willing to work away from home and adapt to varied working hours.
* Reliable, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
