Role Overview To deliver a range of offshore emergency response and H and S based training courses to the highest standard.
The range of courses includes firefighting, rescue at height and confined space rescue and other associated courses deemed applicable.
Delivery with be both theoretical and practical with courses predominately being carried out within the training centre and on occasion at client's premises, ensuring that all activities are completed safely and in full compliance of the Company's and / or Client's safety Management System.
Duties and Responsibilities The delivery of classroom based theoretical course material to many delegates with the use of presentations and various visual aids The delivery and demonstration of practical course material to many delegates Professional assessment of delegates against the relevant awarding bodies standard Overseeing delegate safety at all times during potentially dangerous exercises in accordance with company safe working practices and task based risk assessments Carry out inspection and maintenance of equipment and facilities Set up and support training exercises in accordance with written plans and site specific risk assessments Undergo personal development and training to further increase trade knowledge and overall skill set Be flexible and undertake additional duties commensurate with the overall responsibilities of the job Person Specification You will be an initiative-taking, driven individual with a commitment to getting things done.

You will have: A minimum of 3 years' experience as an operational firefighter (as well as the undefined period at supervisory level) Professional assessor in the workplace qualification preferred Instructional experience, ideally in a health and safety related environment Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and with a wide variety of people e.g., staff, clients, delegates Proficient working knowledge of office IT systems including MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Driving Licence
