Our client, a leading and highly regarded manufacturer and supplier of high quality bespoke products have an exciting Finisher opportunity based within their manufacturing team at their new bespoke offices , where you will be responsible for prepping materials for the final finish - polishing metal, removing marks and dents, colouring materials and using chemicals to apply the final finish - as well as applying a protective wax coating to protect the finish.
You will be working on a wide variety of different components, and will receive all training needed to ensure that the high quality that has come to be expected from the business's products is maintained.
As a Finisher , your important role will involve: Finishing the surface of metal products to specified finish Using hand tools and powered tools Quality controlling parts and components Applying the protective wax coating to parts Using the electro plating plant to apply nickel and chrome finishes I am very interested in speaking with candidates who have experience working as a Finisher, Finishing Operative, Metal Finisher, or Metal Polisher, and who have experience working on small intricate components and who have used hand tools and power tools.
The business would also look at candidates with anengineering related background / mindset who are interested in becoming a Finisher , and who are used to working with power tools and components , and who possess the necessary high attention to detail and passion for quality.
Salary for this Finisher position is £28,000 to £30,000 p.a.
(depending on level of experience).
