Financial Lines Claims Handler Manchester Salary - £35,000 Hybrid working (3 days office, 2 days working from home)   Our client is an independent broker is looking to expand its Manchester office with a Financial Lines Claims Handler.  The role: Reporting to the Claims Director, you will manage a portfolio of Financial Lines losses, including Professional Indemnity, Directors and Officers, Cyber and Travel claims.
There is no upper limit in value to these losses, so your caseload will be allocated on technically competencies.  Whilst there is no delegated authority, this is by no means a post-box service.  You will present losses to insurers, manage the progress of the lifecycle and negotiate and challenge the settlement terms.    The required skills: Ideally you will have experience handling Financial Lines claims, from a broker or insurer.  However if you have a keen interest in this field and have Casualty claims experience with an additional Law degree, we would be keen to speak with you.
