Vagabond Wines is an award winning multi site wine bar chain, currently with 9 sites.
An offering of over 100 self service wines by the glass, accompanied by an excellent selection of sharing dishes.
We are known for our alternative approach to our wines along with our own range of wines which are made in our urban winery with a selection of English grapes.
We are currently looking for a Financial Director/Head of Finance to assist the business in it's growth projections over the coming years.
The role will entail but is not limited to: Role Purpose Work alongside the MD to optimise the trading performance of Vagabond, and to drive its growth and expansion The role combines the attributes of a traditional Finance Director/ Head of Finance (insightful analysis, business cases, profitability & expansion support) with oversight & provision of support office services The aim is for the brand to benefit where possible & appropriate from the wider Group and as such this role is a key intermediary Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities Finance business partner providing insightful reporting & analysis to Vagabond's management  Fulfilment of the Information flow including Board packs, Weekly reports, investment boards & adhoc analysis  Development of robust business cases for new sites & refurbs, tracking & review & post investment analysis  Budgeting, planning & forecasting to the Groups wider timetable  Control of Costs & spend through PO review, controllable cost analysis & reviews & review of targets  Skills/ Experience Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) with 2 year+ post qualified experience ideally in a similar role  Must be comfortable working within a Matrix structure with accountabilities to the Vagabond MD as well as Group Function  Experience in working in a Hospitality or retail environment or fast paced/ multi site sector e.g.
FMCG  Strong core finance skills of management accounts, planning and budgeting  Evidence and ability to provide financial insight/analysis  Strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to create compelling business cases  Strong organisational skills and broader management abilities, comfortable overseeing a number of operational aspects  Able to liaise with and influence colleagues at all levels of the organisation  Comfortable working under pressure  Advanced excel skills  Comfortable in handling and summarising large quantities of data  If you are interested, please send your CV today.
