MacGregor Black are partnering with a Global Consumer Goods Business on the search for a Financial Controller.
This is a permanent role which is mainly remote but would involve travel 25% of the time to manufacturing sites in the UK and in Europe.
As the Financial Controller, you will manage accurate and timely accounting across multiple manufacturing sites.
You will work closely with other senior stakeholder (plant managers, regional controllers etc.
to support with budget planning, forecasting and project management).
Key Responsibilities Develop annual operating and capital budgets across multiple sites.
Prepare monthly account reconciliations, financial forecasts, and site financial reports.
Manage month-end close processes and maintain accurate financial records.
Implement and review internal controls to safeguard assets.
Track and manage capital spending; support project management initiatives.
Engage with stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
What are we looking for?
Solid background in accounting or finance, with experience in the manufacturing sector being advantageous Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline Strong leadership skills with proven ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities Effective verbal and written communication skills Competitive salary + benefits.
