This Canadian-owned business provides engineering, procurement and construction services to various industries across the world.Your new role Working as part of their UK Centre of Excellent financial accounting team, you will be required to support the Financial Controller across a range of areas including management accounting, lease accounting, intercompany accounting and much more.Key responsibilities:Preparation of management accounts and analysing variancesPreparation of budget and forecast informationMonth-end reporting including journals and reconciliationsMaintain intercompany loans and assist with the monthly intercompany reconciliation processAssist with the preparation of annual corporation tax packs for multiple companiesPreparation of analysis and reports for various other finance departmentsPreparation of data for ONSSupport and act as a mentor for the Assistant AccountantWhat you'll need to succeed Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) - first time movers from practice consideredTechnically sound with an excellent understanding of day-to-day accounting processes and procedures, ideally in a large company settingAnalytically minded with the ability to look at and handle large data setsComfortable embracing change in a fast-paced environmentAble to communicate and influence at all levelsStrong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, LookUps, Formulas etc.)
