Finance/Office Manager

Your new company Hays are currently recruiting on behalf of a local manufacturing business.
You will be joining a innovating and progressive company that offers opportunity and development.
We are seeking to appoint a Finance/Office Manager.
This role will suit a PQ Accountant, QBE or Assistant Accountant.
Your new role * Preparation of monthly management accounts * Management of cash flow, credit control and accounts payable processes * Management of the payroll function * Liaison with external accountants (Year-end 31st March) * Dealing with finance queries and ad hoc matters * Monthly returns including VAT, CIS, RCT, Intrastat Setup BACS and bank payments as requested * Control of stationery and handling telephone inquiries * Booking Transport and accommodation * Implementing and maintaining office policies and administrative systems * Organising meetings, events or conferences * Recording office expenditure and managing the budget * HR-keeping records up to date, organising inductions, appraisals etc What you'll need to succeed Previous experience in a similar role Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA, Accounting Technicians Ireland) or qualified by experience Strong IT skills - Including MS Office Good numerical skills Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise and work to deadlines Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Ability to deal with suppliers, subcontractors and internal staff Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Proficiency in accounting software is required.
