Our client, a regulated firm within the Financial Services industry, is seeking a Finance Manager to join their team and drive positive change.
Responsibilities: Prepare consolidated monthly management accounts, providing valuable financial insights for decision-making and board presentations.
Act as a Finance Business Partner to Senior Leadership Team members, building strong relationships and supporting their financial needs.
Ensure accurate sales reconciliation, bookkeeping, and processing of cost journals.
Approve supplier and broker payments, overseeing banking processes with precision.
Collaborate with the payroll provider, ensuring accurate payroll changes and reviewing reports.
Administer month-end activities, including preparing accruals, prepayments, and other necessary journals.
Complete monthly reconciliations, including balance sheets, insurer accounts, and intercompany balances.
Lead and manage the finance team, providing training, support, and performance monitoring.
Salary: £60K + Bens Hybrid working - 2 days in the Brighton office per week Requirements: Qualified accountant ideally with experience in the Financial Services sector.
Familiarity with multi-currency and multi-jurisdiction business models.
Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel knowledge (Vlookup, Sumifs, Pivot tables).
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels.
Self-motivated, energetic, and eager to grow with a small company.
Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
